No doubt, you’ve heard the name Rubens before. But how well do you really know Peter Paul?

The Gazet van Antwerpen will soon be giving you the chance to get to know the real Rubens, as you’ve never seen him before. Because on 14th March, the Gazet van Antwerpen will come with a free ticket to the Rubens Privé exhibition at the Rubens House. A magnificent exhibition comprising private portraits Rubens made of himself and those closest to him. Out of love and for posterity.

To announce the opening of this special exhibition, LDV United created an equally special campaign that fuses the old with the new. Because when you think about it, the practice of making “portraits” of ourselves and those around us and then sharing them with the rest of the (digital) world is quite common these days. And not all that different from what Rubens did with paint and canvas. And so LDV United exploited this idea on behalf of the Gazet van Antwerpen. To bring both worlds together in a unique and captivating campaign. Four striking prints and a fun TV and radio ad are the result. Check them out here.
